Miss Tourism World 2022 - Misses Participate in Xoe Thai Festival

On December 15, 2021, Xoe Thai art was registered by UNESCO as the Representative Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Xoe Thai art is the 14th intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam inscribed by UNESCO. Since then, the four provinces of Yen Bai, Lai Chau, Son La and Dien Bien have continuously had many activities to preserve and honor the art of Xoe Thai.
Xoe Thai festival held this time in Son La with the participation of 1,000 Xoe artisans and Miss Tourism World 2022 contestants will bring a greater meaning, contributing to in promoting and introducing national art to the world.

The Xoe Thai dance is recognized as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO on 15th December, 2021. It has become the 14th intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam that is acknowledged by UNESCO. Following this recognition, the four provinces of Vietnam – Yen Bai, Lai Chau, Son La and Dien Bien Phu make continuous efforts to preserve and promote Xoe Thai.
The Xoe Thai Festival held in Son La this time, with 1,000 Xoe artists and the participation of Miss Tourism World 2022,has brought Vietnam to the world, creating a meaningful solidarity between Vietnam and all international friends around the world.
